Yeah, I haven't updated this in a while.
School's out for summer! Has been for a while now.
I went to the My Little Pony Fair in Rhode Island. Unfortunately, it sounds like it'll be in Vegas for the next several years, and... I don't think I'll be able to get there.
Madness ensued when we tried to find a parking space. We hadn't spotted the part of the directions where it said where the parking garages were. Oh no. Most of the garages were closed, or required month passes, or the like. Agh. While we were driving around, we heard sirens and dutifully pulled to the curb so the firetruck could pass. Well.. it parked just in front of us. "Y'know,I did see some smoke coming from that building when we drove by before..."
Enchantress (people's choice in the Aikarin custom design contest of last summer) wasn't done in time, either (Yeah, the custom I started at the beginning of the school year). I still need to seal the paint job. Ah well. I showed her off a couple of times anyway. It was great to be able to see some other people's customs in person, and I came back with quite a nice little pony haul.
